Lifted 1989 GL Wagon

I am sad to have to sell my baby. Have one to many toys and this one hit the chopping block. It is an 1989 GL wagon with a 4" allied armament lift, has 14" peugeot steel wheels with nice 26" tires. This is a 4wd with 2hi, 4hi, and 4low transfer case. Have done a turbo rear disc brake conversion, just changed all fluids(oil, trans, coolant, brake flush, and rearend), just did the timing belt, and all brakes have brand new pads. A/C blows cold, the car has 215,xxx miles, runs and drives good, interior is in good condition, has body damage on rear drivers quarter panel. I used the car as a daily driver for months, with the lift i got about 22 mpg. Also have an extra set of rims(15" peugeot alloy rims with winter tires) . The pic in the lower right has one of the rims that is in the set of four that are extra. This car has treated me great and i hope it will make a good addition to your home. yeah unfortunately the guy works like 60 hours a week with two jobs and has like 5 kids got to say the chances of him making it anywhere are slim to none.

i can't even get him to come out and work on any of my crap. and this after me helping him swap a v6 in his 4runner.

let me give you a word of advice, v6 in 4runners are not fun to swap and i pretty much hate them now.

i know he has saturdays off from both jobs but then he has to deal with the fam. he might be able to work something out. i will see him at work tonight and talk to him.

If I wouldnt have just bought a sweet GL-10 coupe from seattle Washington..I would be all over this. ( And I am further away from you then Subex).

I would keep bumping it..tax time and rebate checks will be coming ..I thnk people are just waiting for that money to come in

Yeah this is the best subaru I've owned. Couple questions. The dash lights don't work... why? And the rattle when its reved. What is that? I haven't put it on a lift to check it out yet. Let me know so I can pin point it.

As for the dash lights, idk y they don't work. may be as easy as a fuse, it was never a big concern so i never checked it out. Be sure to flip the switch on the top of the steering colum or u will have no marker lights. Just make sure u turn them back off when you stop or they will stay on and drain your battery. To be honest i kinda babied the car while i owned it so i never had it much over 4grand on the tach. So i don't remember any rattles. If it isn't normal i never noticed since this was my first Subaru. Sorry i couldn't be more help. Hope all goes well for you.

so i got a new rebuilt engine for $400 and it runs perfect. well i blew the rear diff today.. dang atleast its gettin all new gear, (clutch on the way, with tranny rebuild) so the dash lights still dont work and i cant figure out why. is there a relay for the tail lights and dash lights?
