Out of neccesity I must sell one car, either the Brat or the Toyota wagon. About the Brat: `978, blue, runs OK, stops poorly, steers fine, doesn't like the cold, 4WD is fine, kinda hard to shift, has original but non-op A/C, AM radio works, gets about 16mpg, needs carb work, a couple small holes on the surface but NO frame rot, needs a replacement title (legal "owner" is impossible to reach). Search some of my threads, you will find pictures.
About the Toyota: 1989 Corolla All-Trac (all wheel drive) 5 speed wagon, 1.6L 4A-FE EFI engine that runs AWESOME, heater blows HOT and makes for an excellent driver - it's UGLY UGLY UGLY and rusty. Seriously. It's hideous. But it goes and stops very well. Has expired Wyoming plates.
$450 each.

Seriously, nobody here wants my 78 not-rusty Brat? For $400?
Obviously I need to quit buying old cars, nobody wants the darn things when I try to sell them.

I could sell my coupe right now for $600 easily, then take a train to Oregon and drive the Brat home. I've driven worse, on longer trips.
Dang, why do you tempt me?!

Would it make the drive to Sacramento?

I'd like to say yes, it has before, but the leaking oil problem would definately need to be taken care of first or the engine would grenade itself. I think a new headgasket is in order. I'd have done it myself already but no money/mechanical skill.
