Year: 1987
Model: GL-10 Turbo 4WD Wagon
VIN: JF2AN75B8HF449770
Link for pictures: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3072814

Color: Silver w/ Blue interior
Miles: 175K +

Location: Highland Village, Tx

Options: Power everything (DUH)
AWD or FWD: FT4WD (from 1988 XT6- near new LUK clutch, XT6 flywheel)

Modifications: BYB/PK Davis 3” lift kit, Auto(original) Digi-dash converted to manual digi-dash and “Canadian MPH/KPH Mod”, (from ebay) AM/FM/Tape/6 CD changer head unit from WRX stereo upgrade with modest OEM sub woofer too. Air ride converted to coil overs. 87.5 XT Turbo “Spider” intake, Front bumper shaved/cut/painted/prep; 2" turbo back exhaust w/ 2"(in & Out) 3 way cat; Reverse lights mod'd to switch on stick; Front bumper is gutted, painted and ready for the extra vents for the radiator and the "L" steel extensions for installing the FMIC [edit] XT6 Alt mod installed in 1999/2000, and warr. battery still good from Pep BOys too.

Major service: Full gasket/head/HLA rebuild in crank seals in summer of 2004, new oil pump, water pump, Spider clean/wiring “plug-n-play”, 2 core radiator in 2001/2?,

Engine Condition: running fine with a small oil leak factor that occurs during op’s only.
Maintenance Records: not really “other then threads on the USMB and here way back when.”
Transmission condition: fine, it has about 25K less then the body it came from a 1988/9 XT6 and I got the flywheel too for the swap when my D/R died.
Glass condition: good, front now has a single crack along the bottom area (passed inspection as it doesn’t effect vision or wiper op’s)

Type of tire and remaining tread: Kuhmo’s on the 13” steelies, discount tire warr. 7-10K of use on them.
Interior condition: non smokers car (me and my nose knew it before I took possession of it as I wouldn’t of thought of it if it wasd a smokers car… I’m allergic to tobacco smoke)

Body condition: drivers front fender has some obvious damage from 2001 or 2002 winter visit to parents in Michigan. (snowbank) also rubbed the drivers door too.

Known defects or problems: A/C isn’t working now was working fine when it went in the barn in 2005 fall; cruise doesn’t work as it needs a few wires connected – I just never had the spare time and space to attack it. Rear area carpet was removed when engine oil and tranny gear lube spilled onto it back in 2002/3 school year at UNT; rear deck retractable cover has a tear in it (it’s the only ugly fix I’ve done that looks tacky), sunroof will manually open(with crank over ride) motor doesn’t want to turn now, will be disconnecting to test and see if motor is frozen or what soon.

Comments about the car: This was my main steed in college and well, now I have to admit its not wise to hold on to it anymore. We are after all in the final stages of certification for Foster Parenting here in the DFW area. This was/is one of my many gearhead hobbies while in college. So, as a hobby there is some extra stuff that I'd be very willing to add to the car as a lumpsum purchase and then discount things a bit too sweeten the deal on both sides of the opportunity.

Asking price: $1500 obo car solo

Here's the list of items I "could sell seperately" but would prefer giving someone a "hook up" with extras along with a discount on the purchase of the car.
a. 2 Long block with approx (140K each) $300 for both
b. spare complete air ride setup $100 plus an extra under the drivers seat computer
c. rear long driveshaft between tranny and rear end $10
d. Starion intercooler $150
e. 2 wagon MPFI turbo intakes (one with wireloom both with injectors) $40
f. new (bought it like 2001?) brake pads for fronts or rear $20
g. TWE(?) SS 2" downpipe $150
h. 14” PUG steel rims (5? Rims with wornout rubber on them) $150
i. spare EA82T flywheel with old clutch setup (approx 10K or less left on it) $20
j. 3 electronic dizzy's ($30-40 each or $60 for all 3)
k. copper head gasket set ($50) reusable
l. WRX hood TMIC cowling/ Impreza hood vents $75 for it all
--------------------------------------------
Am I making anything on this deal? Not really; just comfort in the knowledge that the subie that took care of me (And the several friends I let borrow her to drive, or taught to drive a stick in...) thru my many years at UNT will live on with someone else at the helm. Especially with all the spare parts. There might be a few other tiny odds or ends floating around…. I think there’s a set of headlights too…. Somewhere…. I do not want to sell parts solo before car is sold. The whole idealistic view is giving someone a true "leg up" after all good ole Skip said something to the effect [to me once].... "we fell in love with a great car"... well here's someone chance at something similar, i guess.

So – I’m ASKING $2000 for car and the whole list of items above.
I’d be willing to help prep car for shipment and even prep parts for storage in car for transport too!
I won’t pay for shipping though, sorry but, that’s yours to cover if its necessary.

So I'm Bump(ing) for any *offers* or even suggestions of *potential offers*.

I'm beginning to wonder *IF* I've been too honest at this point.

So if you'd prefer to PM instead of posting the reply here??? WEll, then I guess I'll check back later.

(picture thumb and pointer finger nail's just a few MM apart) "I'm *this* close to posting it on the bay of Evil and other "until it sells" listing sites...

Yeah I'm kinda suprised nobody's responded to this. I guess EA82Ts just have THAT bad of a rep, lol. Good luck with the sell... have you thought about going e-bay? You could probably fetch a pretty penny.

Didn't even read the last post "Thanks for the well wishes folks". Didn't realize it was already sold! At least it got sold to a Soob-head.
