When we needed a vehicle badly, this little red 4 door sedan came along for a reasonable price. Now showing her age and having served my wife and I well, we would like to perhaps sell her to another person who might be able to use her or her parts. Her name is Suzi Subaru and she is a 1992 Loyale front wheel drive. She runs well, of course her lifters are ticking because she has 178617 miles on her and her clutch has expired, but aside from those things, she is a strong runner that still gets almost 34 miles to the gallon. We would love to keep her, but cannot afford what the shops want to repair her. We would like to get $400.00 for her or the highest offer. She had new timing belts and front seals installed last year, so put a clutch in her and she is good for the road. She is currently stabled in Fredericksburg, Va. and can been seen weekends and after 5 on weekdays. Serious inquiries only please. I will try to post some pictures in a few days.

If an offer is not received from either of you gentlemen by Wednesday, I am going to post the car on E-bay.

Did you list it on Ebay yet? I'd love to see some pictures, too bad you don't have the camera to take them.
Is there any major rust on the car? Is it SPFI or MPFI? Does it have power windows, AC, etc? Is the intereior brown or grey? Is it a true red, or more like a maroon color? Is the color faded at all?
I'd have to check with my financial advisor(fiance for short  ) before I comit to come over and look at it.
Oh, if MDJDC doesn't buy it that is...
Thanks

Provide e-mail address for pics, I managed to get 4 of them. She is SPFI and it works fine. The check engine light is on for those two solenoids for the egr and vapor canister, but she gets about 33/34 mpg AROUND TOWN!

Well I made it! Couldn't use the clutch at all really, I had to slip it into 1st or second before coming to a stop or I had to turn off the engine to get it in gear. It's not releasing the clutch from the engine, and there isn't any more adjustment on the cable. So either the clutch is toast, or the cable is too long? Or it stretched like you suspected Paul. Either way I'll get to it later. Other than that it felt real good coming home. Plenty of power for a little Subaru.
I could have posted the pics for you, but it wasn't in my best interest...

Glad to hear, I was going to e-mail you after I found the e-mail address. All I can say about the clutch is the distance between the rubber boot on the cable end and the adjustment screw(end) was about a third of what it was when you looked at it at my sons house when I installed the cable. I am not sure if friction disk is shot because it does not seem to slip, but I do think something is wrong with possibly the throwout bearing or the pressure plate. There is a possibility the bearing is binding on some kind of sleeve someone told me there is supposed to be in there.
Anyway, good luck with it and let me know what you find out when you get around to tearing it down. We will send you the filters and the books as soon as we can.
My direct e-mail address is spockva@comcast.net.
Have a great weekend!!
