Sweet82
Looking for someone who has some insite on how to adjust the steering linkage to fit right once the vehicle is lifted. Background; Those of you who have a lifted Subie know that once you lift the vehicle the steering does not want to connect the same as it was. I'm building a buggy out of my 82 Hatch. I'm finding that my steering shaft is now running right through my pedals where as it used to be up higher and out of the way. What I need to do is lengthen the lower spline somehow and shorten the steering column shaft. This will allow a higher routing of my steering away from my feet and pedals. Anyone else dealt with this concept? :cornfuzz: What did you do? Thanks, Glenn 82 Hatch, transforming...:temper: 01 Forester, jealous....:madder:
