ok well my interior is getting pretty rugged and i have been thinking for a while about doing an interior swap......luckily i was at the salvage yard a few months ago and found an excellant looking black interior in a 97 Legacy GT....my question is.....will the front and rear seats and seatbacks(in the rear)out of a 1997 Legacy GT sedan bolt right in to the stock bolt holes for my 1996 Legacy L sedan?.....i have heard from numerous sources they will but im just trying to confirm before i go and purchase them tomarrow.....

yes, bolt right in. but you will have to swap the front seat belt receivers from the 96 seats onto the 97 seats.

maybe the change took place a year or 2 later, just don't discard the old receivers until you are sure they work. the leather seats i put in my 97 gt need the be swapped. but i don't remember the year, may have been 99.
