Can someone recommend a good Subaru mechanic in the Newton, NJ area?
I have a 1999 Subaru Legacy L Wagon. The engine light was on for a knock sensor. After I replaced the part, the engine is still "slipping" when going up hills or carrying anything substantial. It is a 2.2 Manual. What should my next step be?
2wd to 4wd conversion
Tranny to swap now or forever pick up the pieces

I just bought a 84 Brat GL, its pretty clean well taken care of.I drove it about 130miles today between 65 & 70 and at first the oil pressure gauge was peged all the way and then it would drop to half way and then almost bottom out. I stopped every 30 miles and checked the oil, full, not over either. it just had the oil changed 350 miles ago and it was really clean. Any thoughts?
Does a 97 forester tranny match a 98 forester tranny?

Hello, I came across your lifted EA81 wagon. I was wondering if you had any info on the long travel nitro charged bilstiens you used for your rear shocks.. part#, where you got them or a link to them. Are you running a 6" lift? As that's what I plan on running on my EA81 hatch. I have the rear blocks built and installed and now am trying to figure out the best rear shocks to use. Did you have to make extensions for them or did they just bolt right in? If you made different mounts woul...
exhaust came apart on me today. had to drive 80 miles with hardly any power. the weld job lasted 2 months. unless its a different section this time, could not get a good look in dark. might be up-pipe. sucks. need to take a day off or telecommute now. commute is too long for this spoob.
wheel adaptors and a 2" lift with XV Crosstrek rims/tires.... soon.....
