Towing with a Forester?

What's the max limit that I could tow with a Forester?

I'd like to pull a trailer and at least one snowmobile -preferably two...Is it do-able?? Or is it wishful thinking?

Jordan , the 98-2002 Forester can tow up to 2000 lbs. The 2003 AT is still 2000 lbs while the 2003 5sp is 2500.

I think that 2000lbs is with trailer brakes. I'd have to look in my manual for sure, but it's down in the car...

I believe it is 1000 pounds without trailer brakes, 2000 with.

 

I have been pleasently surprised with how well the OB pull and handles a trailer. I haul firewood with mine and it has worked out very well. I think I am on my 14th cord of wood...

I tow my snowmobile with my 2002 legacy wagon with no problems at all. I have been all over BC.
