My '95 Legacy: Trashwagon10

I picked up a '95 Legacy L wagon AWD AT saturday from MilesFox for $500, change out seized waterpump and shreaded T-belt. The waterpump seized due to the other owner running straight water in the cooling system, MilesFox bought this car the day before I was going to, so I just got it from him instead and fixed it at his place.

Car has 205,000, it has some damage to the left rear quarter from being hit by a plow, but will be a good candidate for a Trashwagon.

Question: Will 205/75/15s fit easily without rubbing? The car already has the 15" Alloy GT style wheels, but I'm looking at new tires (Wanted to run General Grabber AT2s 205/75/15) Dunno if that'll work without Outback struts?

Pictures of the car tomorrow.

Yep, I took a real good look at everything today while I was under it. So I just got a new set of 195/65/15s Little bit taller then the 60s to I guess its good for now. I am planing on installing the OB struts along with the crossmember spacer they come with. (Someday) For now I just want to check it over and make it reliable. I still have the EA82 which I seem to like more.

Pictures..!

i like to refer to this model as a pre-outback, since it is the outback trim line the year before going with the frame spacers and the taller wheels and lower gear. this trim seems to be 95 only, this car is exactly like the one i had as trashwagon8, except this one is auto where mine was stick.

I ripped out almost the entire interior yesterday and cleaned everything, Used a carpet machine to clean the seats and carpeting "Bissell Big Green" rocks!

I also cleaned the center console, took half the dash apart and cleaned that.

Wow, interior condition and seats in excellent condition. Like how you yanked interior out for a thorough cleaning. I am impressed! Have you thought about doing detailing road trips? My two OBWs could use your cleaning expertise. I am in Indy, if that is not too far away.

Haha well thanks. Hmm road trips for interior cleaning (Thats a thought) Not sure about that any time soon, but it is an idea..

Sorry I have not updated this thread, I have been busying Helping MilesFox with and such. What I am doing next is replacing these seats with '94 First gen seats as they are firmer and feel loads better then these stock seats, these stock ones feel to GM'ed much like the rest of the interior.

Pics to soon follow :)

So, what about doing the entire roof black (Semi-gloss or Matte) (Not Flat)

Ideas, Comments?

Unless you wish to cook, I say don't.

I know guys who have painted their roofs white, so that it doesn't get so hot

(they were wheelers who didn't care what their car looked like, but the principal

applies)

On that car, I think a nice shade of that champagne on the roof would look

good :-p
