skeet Posted February 28, 2004 Share Posted February 28, 2004 So, since I have my weber on backwards and can't find a good way to route the cable, it eventually snapped. It just so happened to snap after I had given my spare cable to a buddy since his had broken also. So I ordered one from napa, and it has the little cylinder end connection thingy, when my previous one had the ball shaped end thingy that fit into the little plastic cup. Dude, as soon as I get this throttle cable done I have the following projects due immediatly: Axle swaps (both front) Rear LSD install Rear Sway Bar install Rear Control Arms Brake Pads Figure out whats wrong with my instrument panel Figure out how to route the throttle cable so that it will stop binding (I guess this should be at the top of my list) And a bunch of other stuff I am too lazy to write. baccaruda Posted February 28, 2004 Share Posted February 28, 2004 the first thing i can think of is that you have to fink with the rear differential to get the sway bar in. so do all that stuff at once. and if you mean you're changing your front brake pads, have your rotors turned too. if you wanted to do your front wheel bearings, having the rotors and front axles out will be a good time to do them too. and you're going to love that XT6 rear sway bar. baccaruda Posted February 28, 2004 Share Posted February 28, 2004 ok, maybe ask your boss about turning rotors.. i like to do them whenever i change pads though. at least put a lot of fresh disc brake compatible grease in there then. maybe take them out and clean and repack them, you lazy excuse for a subaru owner.
