Evanism Posted March 2, 2004 Share Posted March 2, 2004 I just bought an 04 legacy. I've been hearing about a few problems with these models and would like to know what folks have had trouble with. My only problem was that mine was delivered with a bad O2 sensor, and was back at the dealer the second day I had it. benebob Posted March 2, 2004 Share Posted March 2, 2004 Non-working cd changer from new, Bad 3rd gear (stick) from new, Steering wheel not aligned properly from new, Pass side mirror had the black plastic coating come off, Doesn't like reverse 50% of the time. BoxersOnly Posted March 2, 2004 Share Posted March 2, 2004 '04 WRX Wagon 3(!) new O2 sensors (yes, one was replaced twice). Rear window seal acts as a water reservoir (Doens't leak into the car though) Intermittend shudder when getting off the gas when at high boost.
