hellstorm Posted March 3, 2004 Share Posted March 3, 2004 Hi, I'm new here. I own a 1988 GL Wagon that just cut out on me while driving. I can't seem to get it started now, any suggestions? The tag under the hood says it has a JFJ 1.9L engine and I know it has a carburetor. I took off the cap and cranked it and the rotor didn't move. bushbasher Posted March 3, 2004 Share Posted March 3, 2004 your not looking at the right numbers unless you've got a very strange engine swap, it should say "ea82" in a box right at the top of the block behind the timing belt covers and its a 1.8l ohc motor.
