So I am transferring the EA 81 into the RX and on my Brat I had this; what looks to be a resistor I believe, connected to my coil. Does anybody know what this is and how it hooks to the dist.????? Thanks

its a noise canceller for the radiao, to prevent humming. one end goes to positive, the other end grounds to body. you can remove it if you like, but you might be listening to yhe alternator in your radio

And I'm pretty sure if you want to listen to your alternator through your radio it's "engine speed controlled" ;)

Cheers
