Better get hopping. I usually start about this time (or earlier) getting my stuff ready. But I usually bring more than one car. And yes, there are awards.

Yeah, showing off :D

That reminds me... where is my bribe for this year

(I do some of the old school/off road judging, though someone else has a look at what I submit)

HAHA mike had a great duct taped beer can staff lol i'll have to make one this year. If it's cool we should try to get the same group as last year with Mike A and Gemini Fred and I had a great time with you guys last year.

Yep I agree! Was great camping with you all last year and can't wait for this year!

See you guys in a few months!

Any tips on motels? I don't camp and I am traveling very lightly. Is there a motel where others will be staying that don't camp like me? lol

Get a hold of Dr RX, he goes that route every year.

He may choose to hang out till the wee hours of the morning.

Then head back to his hotel room and comfy bed.

I know of a few people that have done this.

right here is the plan. Hell my motel is only .5 miles away...I can drunk walk that

I will already end up spending a night in an airplane  and then have to drive home 1.5 hours from Philadelphia in morning rush hour traffic while trying to stay awake. Looks like a cigarette and mountain dew kind of morning.

just for sake of arguement though...I have slept in a 2002 outback (nearly brand new at the time) in the driver seat and if I was driving out to this show I would gladly sleep in my Baja anyday of the week.

I'd still rather sleep in a car then a tent
