Hi guys,

I have searched but didn't find anything yet. Would anyone know or has done a write up on converting the loyal head lights from single to twin lights?

I'm about to attempt this any a write up or any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thx

Guy

Hehehe... I've had the same thoughts about this light setup guyph! Did you use a set from the US or a set off an MY over here??

Wiring it wouldn't be hard mate - a set of relays to trigger high or low beam referenced from the original wiring would be the go. You should be able to work that out and if no ask one of the fellas about "the relay headlight upgrade" and just add a 3rd relay to each side for the high beam on the extra light ;)

Cheers

Bennie

Be prepared to do some cutting and welding, if I understand things correctly. I inquired about this very thing to a local Subaru specialist/mechanic guy here in Denver a few months ago. I wanted to knock out the second light and put in a set of offroad lights in the cavity, but same difference. Anyway, he told me Subaru changed the shape and size of the headlight body between the GL/DL, and Loyale...I haven't messed around at the junkyard to see if they will swap, but just eyeballing it I have the gut feeling he's right.

Worth keeping in mind/checking out before you get too far into it. And if it works I will be your biggest fan , and will be right behind you to do it.
