Hey all,
Anyone know which year Subaru used the quad sealed beam setup on EA82 cars? I've seen them before, and am assuming that it was 1985. Anyway, anyone know where I can find a set of these? The stock '86-'94 9004 lights are tres lame. I think I can get better slight if I switch to quad sealed beam lamps.
Thanks,
Ben

Usually you find those on base models or DLs
Sealed beams are generally not as bright as modern bulbs in housings.
I do think the quad lamps look cool though.

85 to 89 DL's.
The cool part is that you can swap out the sealed beams for off-the-shelf H4 conversion housings. Some of which will even work with HID's. You can't get squat for the GL assemblies without a lot of custom work, etc. I just bought an HID setup and low beam conversion housings for my EA81 hatch - $88 shipped for the whole mess.
