Guest McBrat
any tips on the best way to fill up the brake fluid. all brake fluid was gone when I got the vehicle... and I do mean ALL of it.... 1. open up one bleeder at a time, and use the mity-vac to pull it through. 2. open up all 4 and see howmuch it flows down to them... thoughts? Guest ShawnW
I think you are going to have to fill and bleed the master cyl and then do each individual wheel. If I could find the procedure in one of my books it would be the same procedure as master cyl rebuild and then bleed procedure.
Guest Tom63050
You open up one bleeder at a time. Filling the master cylinder, you start with the one farthest from the master cylinder and work back to the one closest. I.E. if your master cylinder is on the driver side in the engine bay, you start with the rear passenger bleeder, then rear driver bleeder, then front passenger, and end with the front driver one. Guest McBrat
I used my Mity-Vac to do it. very easy one man job... I was mistaken. there was some fluid left, although it looked like honey when it came out. kept pulling fluid through 'til it was clear....
