fostina1 Posted January 23, 2012 Author Share Posted January 23, 2012 (edited) muffler shop just quoted me $700 for the whole system. seems crazy high to me. im going to take it to him this afternoon to see exactly what needs doing. what other subarus exhaust systems are the same as mine? maybe i could find something at a junkyard or something. edit follows... he quoted $400 for just the front section with the cat. i found the whole thing on jc whitney for $125, and on rock auto for $160. that sounds alot more reasonable to me. on the back end he said $90 for muffler and $90 for resonator plus the pipe. Oh, and start a new thread over in old gen for technical stuff. More people browse there and can give you a broader chance for more options when it comes to answers.
