Retro GL-10 TURBO build

Nico,

 

This may be for another thread but do you have any future plans for your XT6? A build of some sort?

 

If not, have you done anything to it yet and if so, what? Thanks!

 

 

No I only purchased that xt6 for the parts I need to convert my gl-10 to awd and 5x100. I scraped it in the winter it was to messed up to make a nice car out of it.

 

There is another one I been looking at but it's across Canada so maybe I'll fly out there and drive it back home.

Great spot for those switches. This thing will be sweet when it's finished. You should ask to have this moved to the members rides section.

 

ya its working out really nice soon its time to swap just need the ecu stuff to go, i never seen the members section ill see if they can move it for me good idea

Cannon plugs-sweet! Did they come with back shells and strain reliefs?

 

Lol I'm sorry I don't know anything about the plugs like you do !.. All I know he is making me a wiring harness..

Finding backshells and strain reliefs for ms style aviaton cannon plugs should be easy, getting the proper crimp tool and insertion/removal tools that's the hard/expensive part.

 

The last time I checked a full set of Daniels crimp tools was over $2000US... Needless to say I don't have a set.

well no room for a FMIC kit so next best thing !! AWIC..... i got a hole spare tire room for this set up, its even nice and light weight.

Yep next week putting in the garage and take it all apart, Franz is on his way with the wiring and we are good to go Lego style

What are those fender flares from sir???

 

there like ebay special chepo fender flairs, there sitting at my buddys subaru shop they put them on gc imprezas.

 

i seen them i was like that looks like it has the same shape tried it out and it fits perfect

some whiteline race tranny mount bushings with a cusco tranny mount. this cross brace is a mix of old 1986 subaru XT6 with center section new school to make the STi 6mt fit.

I have the DCCDPro installed on my 6 spd swapped Forester XT. It works great. And by far the best customer service I have ever been given.

 

good to hear i am look forward to using it so excited... ya jeff is a really good guy took the time to tell me how it works and set it up, he lives next city over to me so he's close buy !

well i had to get this not a super fan of gold rims but its a subaru thing and i had to ! some thing like 13lbs is a must on a light weight Leone Turbo monster !
