The Scooby Posted March 26, 2004 Share Posted March 26, 2004 it would be better to get the shocks from the trunk of a car, or a heavy hood, that way they will be stronger, and they wont wear out nearly as fast since they arent holding that much weight up. soobme Posted April 2, 2004 Share Posted April 2, 2004 Part of my "Day Job" is driving Hysters, just for info, U sit on the engine cover on a Hyster. They are heavy! They have a pair of little (about 8" long cup to cup) struts to hold the engine cover up. I just got a set yesterday with the ball mounts they use. I will try them out as soon as I get a chance and let U all know how they work for me.
