They will be stressed more for sure, part of the game. I do have a set of new diffs and halfshafts that are from the front of a Nissan, R200s. I was going with the R180 but the 200 gives me airlockers and lower gears. The Nissan half shafts are being shortened and re-splined to fit the re-enforced EA81 outer cups.
hey let me know how all this diff stuff goes. if it takes the beating i might need to have you help get that design to go for my car. lower gearing and better strength. that's what i'm trying to go for right now. not to mention air lockers... cause i was going to get 33" tall tires for my car but then i kept breaking all these stubs. so till i get a good way to beef it up and maybe even lower the gearing more. i'm staying with my 31" tires... but when i upgrade drivetrain the 33's will come. i need them here for all the rock crawling in AZ.
i was just kidding about the no drivetrain. from what i've seen of your work you do it right the first time. and i know it's not an overnight procedure. trust me. but it looks good. i was just teasing you cause for the longest time i saw your brat with no drivetrain.
keep me informed. on this axle stuff.
