yeah the shorter travel was something mentioned in Jeszeks thread about them.

unfortunately, i'd be lying if i said i was driving on anything regularily more treacherous than a poorly maintained gravel road. pretty urban around here.

Well I'm going to be relocating the lower spring mount anyway, so we'll try them and see what happens. I'll see if I can do a side-by side comparison at some point. Kinda sucks, though, I'd almost rather get stock struts with a lifetime warranty and just replace them if they bend.

Yes, but the Coil Spring doesn't let the Strut to travel too long during compression, and the Tall size is about the same:

That's kind of what I figured. I wonder how far the stock shock travels before it hits the bump stop anyway. I'll have to measure it tomorrow. :D

yeah got me on that one, i dont have bumpstops anymore, they rusted off a few years ago.

however, i think it would take dropping the car off of a cliff for these things to bottom out

Not to mention after you lift it, the bump stops are essentially useless. That's one reason to use those rubber bump stop donuts that go on the strut shaft.

yeah, i kept the bumpstops on the shocks, just incase i fall off a cliff :)
