The new headgaskets are fine. The Forester was rated best small SUV in some latest poll (top 10 cars for like 10 catagories)
I went and looked at them...they are nice vehicles and the reliability should be fine...better than any other vehicle in its class...besides...what else would you do? Buy a Ford Escape or a Chevy Tracker?

got the new forester and love it... better than my old forester and the quality seems better than my old OB too.

I hope that you're great comments about the 04 Forester also apply to the 03?!? Do they? I am new to Subaru, and I hope that my experience with the Forester will be good. 10,000 miles so far, and I really like the vehicle.
