Started out live as a FWD 5 speed, SFI 1.8L N/A

Now with:

50% more Cylinders (H6 EG33)

100% more Rear Wheel Drive

100% more Subercharger (Eaton M90)

100% more tail pipes (dual Exhaust)

100% more body Kit (stock RX body kit)

100% more tuneability (standalone ECU)

1000X more awesomeness!!!

and the engine has been moved back about 10 feet...

Makeing its first Public Showing at

THE BIG NORTH WEST SUBARU SHOW!!!

Took it to the tuner today. the clutch held up for 2 pulls to 4K, then started to slip big time... guess a stock EJ18 Clutch will not hold the torque of an EG33...

This is beyond epic. I raise a glass to Suberdave for sheer awesome!

the trans that is in it now will not be staying in it. im still trying to find a different tans, and clutch that will hold more power.

I wonder how the FWD trans internals vary from AWD in an EJ. If you could re-use some of the FWD parts in a pull-type case. That would solve your clutch issue.....although I'm not sure how other things would hold up.

Also, as it turns out, it's really not difficult to use 23-spline axle stubs with a Carbonetic front LSD. Just a little machine work to convert the 5MT 23-spline stubs to use a circlip instead of the snapring.

i currently have an AWD trans in it. it just has the center diff welded and the tail shaft housing pulled and a plate on the rear of the trasn.

my plan is to do that same thing to a newer WRX trans.

Gotta be some kind of award we can give you for this, maybe a clock and calender. :D Lots of time into this puppy. I sure hope you get your thrills from it.

Enjoy , and don't take my post the wrong way.

Waiting on the video of the donuts you're going to be doing. :headbang:

Oh , and screw those ads for the Scion/Subaru/Toyota with the rump roast end swinging into oncoming traffic around a mountain bend. We want to see your ride in that add. :D
