I bought a used adapter for a ej22 and can not get the flexplate hub to pull up tight on the crankshaft. There is a1/6 gap and will not pull up tight. Any ideas on want is wrong or how to slove this?

Ok figured it out. This was a used adapter and there was two half inch washers droped in the hole and that was holding the hub off the crank flange. The washers fit tight and looked like they where part of the hub.
