For my 78 4WD wagon but can be any manual box I'm pretty sure.

"Any"? I have the cable-clutch pedal box for my 1999 Impreza in my basement...here in sunny Copenhagen. Swapped to a hydraulic clutch, so it's just hanging around as a spare.

What are the odds it will fit a 1978?
