P K Posted April 1, 2004 Share Posted April 1, 2004 A neighbor of mine had this exact paint job on a Toyota Stout, back in the early 1970s ... during the 1st gas crunch. It was funny in that the good-old-boys were angry at the Japanese mini-truck invasion beginning (1968-ish), however, they couldn't get mad at him because it was so darn patriotic looking, not to mention he was already a Viet Nam Vet.
