91 Loyale timing

I put in an used motor into my 91 Loyale and after driving it a while I went to tune it up. I started to replace the spark plug wires, the firing order is different than what the manual says. Could it that someone didn't install the timing belts correctly? I don't remember what the firing order is. Any ideas?
