johnd911
.I have a chance to get a low mileage 91 2.2l . My 93 2.2l awd wagon lefacy has 350,000 and a spare engine would be nice. I was wondering if the sensor connections, exhaust, etc. would bolt right up and if the computer would match up to the engine. OR if I should just look around for a 93 engine. Please respond asap, the owner of the engine needs a fast answer.
calebz
The wiring plugs for the intake might be a little different..that can be easily remedied by using your original intake manifol when you swap motors.. other than that, you should be good to go
johnd911
thanks, a cheap spare would be nice since the car has minimal spots of rust and is in great shape, highway driver etc.
Legacy777
there's some very minor differences, but they should be completely swappable.
johnd911
I hope the 91 was as bulletproof as my 93 motor has been.
