Gas on the wood grain! If you have any info on this year and model please chime in. I think this is a base model 1.6? No AC, no power anything! Four speed hi/low 4x4 and the passing light works great. I would like to put a weber carb on this. Does anyone know about the jet sizes for a stock engine and is this kit on e-bay about the cheapest around?

Beautiful Subaru you Have, and Welcome to USMB!
I'll Like to see Photos of the Engine Bay to be Sure about its Engine, but if it Really is the 1.6L it should be the EA71 engine.
Kind Regards.

nice. if it's all original, it appears to be a basic GL with the Dual range and centerlamp, so it should have the 1800 EA81 Engine...
look right to the left of the distributor for the engine model stamp...
and that would be paint code 45, Torreador Red...
Nice woody kit too...

I usually beat the Ebay $320 price on those kits if people call my shop. Office open 2-6 mountain time. Same for any other Redline stuff if I can help USMB guys out I do.

Thanks McBrat, it is a 1800 EA81 engine. Does anyone know of a little lift kit for this wagon? Thanks
