heartless Posted November 3, 2012 Share Posted November 3, 2012 (edited) The thing I like better about manuals in the snow is decelleration via engine braking.....i.e creeping downhill in gear, rather than riding brakes. Um, this can be done in an automatic, too...I do it all the time. just slip the lever down a gear... It doesnt particularly like it when the tranny is still cold, but works a treat when fully warmed up.
