GeneralDisorder
My EA81 wagon has a trip computer. It's carbed. So yes, it's possible. I don't know if it was done on the EA82's or not. Someone else will have to answer that. GD
CIS Subaru
I'm sure it can be done without too much difficulty. I think that the only sensor inputs for the trip computer are the speedometer pulse (All GL speedos should come with this for cruise control, maybe DLs too), the fuel level signal (I think the senders are all the same), and maybe outside air temp (not sure where the thermometer is located, but you'd need to get it). Adam N.D.J.
My Mom n Law has an 85 Sedan with a carb'd motor and a digi-dash with trip computer. Sounds like all the sensors your would need there, don't know if the analog dash has the speedo sensor, or if it's external. I've actually got a trip computer pulled out, and there is a little black box that hooks in there, but real easy to pull most everything you need from the wrecking yard, it's mostly separate from the rest of the harness.
