RedLance Posted April 9, 2004 Share Posted April 9, 2004 Is your 87 Turbo, the 87.5 model? Does it have foglights or places for foglights in the chin spoiler? If it does, then the XT6 engine should swap in no problem, as the 87.5 model, was the same car as the XT6...just with the 4 cylinder. I know, I've got one. Unless you mean you hate the XT6 engine...in which case, I don't see why an EJ22 wouldn't swap in...Other people have done it to EA-82 cars...which is really all the XT is... subarubrat Posted April 9, 2004 Share Posted April 9, 2004 The EG33 will fit along with a single or twin turbo setup. It is not an easy fit compared to some. I would say it is about half again as hard as getting the ER27 into the BRAT. If you are contemplating this email me and I will assist you as best I can.
