So the handle on my Brat's tailgate has been broken. By broken I mean that the material on the right side of the handle just broke right off. The left side is intact, but not the right. Anyone have any quick fix ideas.
Later down the line I might try and keep my eyes out for a recycled handle and linkage?
For now I was thinking maybe some contact cement would hold the break?

More than likely you only need another handle which can be had from any Stage II 1977-thru 1979 car or another Brat up to '81

You can reuse that same handle on a passenger side door. Don't throw away. All door handles are the same.
The tailgate opening requires more power, thus it breaks FAR easier than a door.
