If by universal, you mean one where you splice wires from old one to new one, then I have to say that in my experience I have never had one last very long. Going after market is good, if no wires need to be spliced.

I only use Denso 02 sensors, my front one is Denso and I need to buy the rear sensor as I bent the part were the wires come out so I have a code, might as well get Denso for that too.

You can get Denso or NTK exact fit on rockauto.com for about $50.
