Exhaust options 00 Outback wag

Recommended Posts

I am trying to upgrade the exhuast on my outback. I have been known to make some pretty cool exhaust systems including full headerback systems for other subies for years but for this car it will be easier and cheaper just to buy pre-made stuff. I found a couple obx products kicking around ebay but not totally sure they will fit the outback wag. The links are listed below. I want a new set of headers, not just a new y-pipe. I want a highflow cat set and a nice but not over the top cat-back. Its a daily driver not a race car so I like a little noise but not overwhelming at 80mph. Any tips?

Tom

there is differences between models as far as where the mid pipe flange (spring bolt flange) is.  They rotated the way it bolted it so you may have to cut off the end and rotate it to fit and then reweld it.   There is a guy on the board who makes UEL headers for your car, I'd check him out so you are supporting a member instead of a random ebay account.  Its in the products for your Subaru section.

What year OB is it?  And is this TomsSVX from the SVX forums?  (assuming so)
