MaddMaxx
Whats up Subaru Fans? I'm new to Subaru, but I just stepped into a BRZ. I followed its development (along with Toyota), with a lot of anticipation and finally got the nerve to pull the trigger. Looking forward to exploring the forum and learning. Legourde_Nux
Welcome to the board!!!! Inspired by the last rear wheel drive, 2 door, Toyota Corolla (called "Trueno" in Japan) back in 1986.....Toyota and Subaru joined forces and brought this beauty. MaddMaxx
Thanks! Haha, yeah I had intended to go with 'yota, but when they only released in as Scion in the US... I had to go with Subaru.
Legourde_Nux
Mmmm, no 86 Toyota in US????....here in Dominican Republic we don't get the Scion so the 86 is in Toyota dealerships.....anyway, the BRZ is a different flavor.
MaddMaxx
Nope, the 86 was released in the US as the Scion FRS... I like the "softer" curves of the BRZ anyway, but performance its got all the same bits.
Legourde_Nux
You got the Kicker bass amp in the trunk area?
MaddMaxx
Nah, I prefer space and less weight over bass
Legourde_Nux
Ok....As with all new cars check your manual for maintenance and to know your BRZ a litlle more.......try it in "sport" mode and go from that point forward.
