1987 Subaru DL Wagon

My name is Shane ford i am 15 years old and this is my project, I am fixing up a 1987 subaru DL wagon. I am fixing this car up so i can have a car to drive around. I think they are cool.

Look at these cars son on this sight.  Make your Subaru your own these guys and gals have some good ideas.

You're absolutely right, Frankenru--they are cool!  My first two Subarus were '85 wagons.  I loved them and still miss them.  And they're great cars to polish your "wrenching skills" on.

I had a DL... it was a great runner...

The DL is perfect for young drivers as they have great control/traction in bad weather, are under powered which is a good thing and they are tough.  Learn to drive defensively as no air-bags which is a concern but put a kid in an overpowered car and they seem to have an attraction for wrapping the car around a tree.

Great cars to learn how things tick and fixing things...
