Caboobaroo Posted April 15, 2004 Share Posted April 15, 2004 well Andrew and I are working on an 85 2wd 5-speed carbed wagon. We finally got it to start BUT the throttle is sticking halfway open. We checked the cable and the peddle but both seem to be fine. So it has to be somewhere in the carb. Now on the driver side of the carb where the throtle shaft comes through from the other side, there is a spring that is supposed to be wound up to hold something or to help with the return of something.
