Soooo much want here. 10k for the kit, 5k for WRX motor, transmission and a few suspension and brake bits and you've got yourself a car that would probably smoke a BRZ.

Looks fantastic.  Time will tell how it pans out but I really hope it does.  I've always had a fond-ness for the S2000, this looks surprisingly similar.  It would be like an S2000 on crack!  The Koni coilovers are a nice touch.

I wonder why they say the STi drivetrain won't work.  I'm guessing it's because the Subaspool won't work with the STi 6MT.  As light as it is, I'd say the 5MT will do just fine, or use the split case 6 speed.

In my neck of the woods I'm going to need it to have a roof of some sort before I could even begin to consider it. That and about $15k more disposable dollars than I have at any given time.   Someone mentioned that it would be plenty of fun with an EJ22 and based on how much fun a stock Leggy can be, at nearly a thousand pounds lighter I'm inclined to agree. That would bring the finished cost down to the 12 to 13k range.   Or a nice frankenmotor?  I get that more power is always better but a car that light with WRX oomph seems to me like it would be a handful to even keep planted.
