Just snagged a 96 Legacy Outback,

Washed off the engine.

Had to have it flat bedded home from the carwash.

now there is no power to the solenoid from key switch.

just a coincidence ?

ideas and opinions please .

check the fuses under the hood in the fuse box near the battery. check the fusible links in the same fuse box.

is it an auto? try starting in neutral and jiggling the shifter.
