Newest addition to the family...

Recommended Posts

Well, Monday night Danbob99 and I picked up the newest member to my family. We were expecting it to be a pile, strip it, then junk it. However, turns out to be a pretty good find.

1986 XT Turbo Auto w/push button 4wd.

How much? FREE

How many miles? 116,000 and change

Whats wrong with it? Shot air suspension (easily fixed) Slight dent on the left fender. And of course the usual electrical quirks, nothing major.

Exterior is in very nice condition. The interior... wonderful! I love the checker seats.

But, I don't need another car. I already have 2 project cars, the RX and my lifted wagon. So, what should I do? I know! I'll give it to my brother.

He turns 16 in July. Here are some pics: http://community.webshots.com/album/136141571EQzpBD

Wow! That car is the twin sister to my Jezabelle! Jez is also an 86 XT Turbo Auto with push button 4WD, except her air suspension works fine, and she dosen't have any stickers. Same exact paint scheme, but I have the directional wheels...

Great find!

Nice. I am a big XT fan. We only have 3 currently.

My sisters (two different accidents) wiped out the driver's side of my 86 XT Turbo, when I was 16. Probably only got to put 1000 miles on it. Anyways, I have a charcoal grey fender with silver bottom if you are interested.
