why does she tick sometimes? I am new to the forum and have a 2013 WRX hatch. Ive had her for about 5 months. I want to know why i hear a certain ticking in the engine sometimes (2.5l F4 Turbo) is she spooling down? also, sometimes she lurches when i accelarate from 1-2500 and if i were to deccelerrate while in gear it will also lurch some. WHy?

Short answer for the tick - Subaru
Short answer for the lurching - bad factory tune. Subaru intentionally sends these out the door with a bad lean condition that is more harmful to the engine than a tune.
I had a 2011 and it was the same. Do yourself a favor and get a Stage 1 tune. It really helps the fuel mappings and lurching. You will not find many here to help you with a 2013. Head to NASIOC.com and start reading!!!
