Carl B. Posted September 12, 2013 Share Posted September 12, 2013 Trying to finish up my obd2 ej harness today, but I dont know what the select monitor plug looks like. Anyone have a pic? I'm not even sure what select monitor is. Is it similar to data blocks on VAG cars like VW/audi? El Presidente Posted September 14, 2013 Share Posted September 14, 2013 Select monitor is Subaru OBD1 and the plug looks identical to the stereo plug for the back of the radio. Its yellow and located under the steering wheel area. Theres programs you can download for free, and that you pay for, that will allow you to take advantage of this system, but I've never done it. It doesn't look hard, but involves splicing in a USB plug into the SSM(Subaru Select Monitor) plug.
