thesmith
I'm thinking about overhauling the brakes on my 88 GL soon, any recommendations of brands for pads/shoes? I'm just running stock rotors/calipers and rear drums for now, but I'd like to make my purchase worthwhile. The wagon is mostly a daily driver. Thanks! (also, links to a thorough rear disc conversion writeup would be much appreciated!) Edited September 15, 2013 by thesmith

Carl B.
I like napa premium. They're the ones with the part number start with SS. Oe quality, ceramic, and comes with hardware.
thesmith
Wilwood 4 piston system all around. More details on your setup? Their brakes look pretty nice, but obviously you've done some custom work to put them on an EA82. What model of calipers/rotors are you using? MilesFox
If you do the rear drums, have them turned, and i have a set of springs and shoes for ea82 drums raybestos in the box new. If you need them, you can get them from me for less than buying; i have no use for them.
