Besides the final drive ratios? I have heard there are some small differences with the internals, but I'm not knowledgable enough on the specific differences. If you don't get an answer here, I'd suggest calling Andrewtech, http://www.andrewtechautomotive.com/ They do a lot of trans work and could probably help you.
