91Pylons Posted April 24, 2004 Share Posted April 24, 2004 I have a 92 Loyale with a 5 speed push button 4WD. I`m not really a big fan of the push button 4WD. Even from the days when I was a Sooby tech, I always liked the D/R 4wd better. I think we all do. I have an 89 wagon with a bad engine, but a good 5 speed D/R tranny. Is it possible to pull this changeover off? Has anyone ever done it? Any suggestions? How about issues like the console, clutch, pressure plate, mounting, just to name a few. It seems to me , judging from my experiences working with Subarus, that this can be possible. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
