WJM Posted April 25, 2004 Share Posted April 25, 2004 Ok ok ok......due to some financial contraints...i might not beable to purchase the TWE header and DP...BUT... from here, I...err, we, can get the flanges for the IHI RHB5 VF7 turbo...or, the TD04 (13G) http://www.uniquemotorsports.com/products/IHI_flange.htm Now...IF someone can locate me a source for the exhaust flanges for the head to header...maybe we can get something going...if you read what I am typing a certin creative way...oh and with these two clues, im sure someone will have a brite lite turn on over thier head and post what I am proposing here....ive got a welder comming, and I have Portaband here...and ive got parts to rig up an EA82T on its engine/suspension crossmember on a stand,...woops, 3 clues! Oh, and since no one seemed to get the hint...when my welder gets here, I am seriously looking into making headers and downpipes, if I can get the flanges and such.... baccaruda Posted April 27, 2004 Share Posted April 27, 2004 can you reuse flanges from old stock components? that seems to be the best source we'd have. maybe someone with a dead turbo car can send you a set of flanges, and after you make someone some parts, they owe you their old stock flanges. WJM Posted April 27, 2004 Author Share Posted April 27, 2004 I will actually cohse from one of many broken stock headers to start my project...ive got one right here. And I know where one is right off hand. The problem is...the flanges are too small of an ID for what I wanted to do...the ports are 2 inches, the flanges are 1 1/2 IIRC.
