This car has the 4EAT transmission. That vacuum hose isn't your problem because this transmission doesn't use it. Those two hoses are probably just vent hoses. The TPS could be out of adjustment and I would tinker with it first. Owned the same car years ago and loved it.

Although the TPS could very well be the problem, it might also be dirty fluid
, or possibly the "POWER" resistor unplugged. (edit: The POWER resistor would effect firmness of shift, but not when it shifted.)

The fluid is fairly new,3200miles, since the transmission rebuild. The motor was done about the same time. The guy I got it from sold it after his son passed and did not get everything back together in auto shop in collage. He transplanted the new motor and tranny.

Flashing power light probably means a bad solenoid. Not familiar with the code retrieval process. Someone near you a few weeks ago had the transmission you need for sale. May want to search the for sale section.

The one that I have used on the Loyale's 4EAT is a little bizarre and complicated. I will see if I can find it.
