mtsinner7868
Hello all. Picked up an 88 turbo 4x4 wagon........ I need a little help with the dash turbo light(s). There is the turbo light itself (I assume) and a square light around it. What do each represent ? Sometimes the green square around the turbo light itself comes on, usually when it is under load and on the skinny pedal real good. Couldn't find much on this anywhere. Thanks for the help. PlaneDriver
The green square outline is the only light. Your description of the square light sounds normal. There is no light behind the turbo icon itself.
mtsinner7868
After looking at it closer that is the case. But what is that square green light alerting me to when it comes on ?
-tombba-
It lights up when the intake manifold pressure goes over the standard athmosphere pressure and the turbocharger starts making some boost.
